Alabama Boating Information
Locally, and in the entire State of Alabama, if you would like to drive a boat you are required to take a Alabama boater safety certification . Once you pass a 25 question exam you will have a “V” put on your automobile driver’s license. Or, if you do not have an automobile driver’s license, you will be issued a “Vessel Only” license.
